Whole-Wheat Honey & Cinnamon Crackers

Lightly sweet, warmly spiced crackers made with whole-wheat flour, honey, and a touch of cinnamon. These wholesome biscuits have a satisfying snap and pair wonderfully with fruit or nut butter.
Ingredients
- 1.75 cups Whole-Wheat Flour
- 0.25 cup Unsalted Butter
- 0.33 cup Honey
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons Whole Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Using a mixer or by hand, cream the softened butter with the honey until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla and mix briefly.
- Add the flour, cinnamon, and baking soda (1 tsp). Mix on low speed until crumbly, then add milk one tablespoon at a time until a smooth dough forms.
- Shape the dough into a flat disc, wrap tightly, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 175 °C (350 °F). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Roll the dough out between two sheets of baking paper to about 3 mm (1/8 inch) thickness.
- Cut into rectangles (about 5 × 7 cm) and prick each one with a fork.
- Bake for 14–16 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely on the tray — they crisp up as they cool.
- Safety note: These are crunchy — break into small pieces for younger toddlers and supervise closely.
