Turkey & Vegetable Pasta Stars

Tiny pasta stars tossed with seasoned turkey mince and grated vegetables in a light tomato sauce. The pasta shapes are perfect for practising the pincer grip, and the grated veggies melt right into the sauce for fuss-free feeding.
Ingredients
- 100 grams Turkey Mince
- 60 grams Small Pasta Shapes
- 1 small Courgette
- 1 small Carrot
- 100 grams Ripe Tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 small Onion
- 1 pinch Dried Oregano
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in boiling water according to package instructions until very soft (slightly overcooked). Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until soft.
- Add the turkey mince, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Cook for 5–6 minutes until browned throughout with no pink remaining.
- Add the grated courgette, grated carrot, chopped tomatoes, and oregano. Stir well and cook for 8–10 minutes until the vegetables are very soft and the sauce has thickened.
- Add the cooked pasta to the pan and stir gently to combine.
- Cool to a safe temperature. Serve as-is for BLW babies. The pasta shapes are easy to pick up and the sauce clings to them.
