Soft Banana & Peanut Butter Energy Balls

A naturally sweet, no-bake snack perfect for little hands. These soft bites combine potassium-rich bananas with protein-packed peanut butter and fiber-filled oats for a healthy energy boost.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium Ripe Banana
  • 0.25 cup Smooth Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Place the rolled oats in a blender or food processor and pulse a few times until they are a fine, flour-like consistency. This makes them much easier for toddlers to digest.
  2. In a medium bowl, peel the ripe banana and mash it thoroughly with a fork until no large lumps remain.
  3. Add the smooth peanut butter to the mashed banana and stir until well combined and the mixture is no longer sticky.
  4. Stir in the ground oats, chia seeds, and a tiny pinch of cinnamon. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  5. If the mixture feels too wet, add another tablespoon of ground oats. If too dry, add a teaspoon of water or milk.
  6. Safety Step: Scoop about 1 teaspoon of the mixture and roll it into a small ball (about 2cm in diameter). Smaller balls are safer and easier for toddlers to manage.
  7. Place the balls on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  8. Serve chilled. Always supervise your toddler while they are eating these to ensure they take manageable bites.
