Smooth Oat Porridge with Pear

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Rolled Oats
- 0.5 piece Pear
- 0.5 cup Water
Instructions
- Place the dry rolled oats in a blender or food processor and pulse until they become a fine powder (oat flour). This ensures a perfectly smooth texture.
- Wash, peel, and core the pear. Dice it into small pieces.
- Steam the pear pieces for about 8-10 minutes until they are very soft, then mash them into a smooth puree with a fork or blender.
- In a small saucepan, bring the water to a gentle boil.
- Whisk in the ground oats and reduce the heat to low. Stir continuously for 3-5 minutes until the porridge is thick and creamy.
- Remove from heat and stir in the pear puree.
- Add a splash of breast milk or formula to reach your baby's preferred consistency and to add familiar flavor.
- Allow to cool and test the temperature before serving.
