Cauliflower & Cheese Bites

Soft, golden bites made with steamed cauliflower, mild cheddar, and oats. These mini bites are packed with calcium and vitamin C, perfect for baby to pick up and self-feed. A wonderful way to introduce cauliflower in a cheesy, irresistible form.
Ingredients
- 200 grams Cauliflower
- 40 grams Mild Cheddar Cheese
- 1 medium Egg
- 30 grams Rolled Oats
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 pinch Sweet Paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin with olive oil.
- Steam or boil cauliflower florets for 8–10 minutes until very soft. Drain well and allow to cool slightly.
- Mash the cauliflower thoroughly with a fork (some small lumps are fine).
- In a bowl, combine the mashed cauliflower, grated cheddar, beaten egg, blitzed oats, and paprika. Mix well.
- Spoon the mixture into the prepared muffin tin, pressing gently to compact.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden and firm to the touch.
- Allow to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Serve at room temperature. They should be soft enough to gum but hold their shape.
